A big part of the ethos of KINESISdance is based around inclusion and the community; bringing dance to a wider variety of people, ages and settings. As part of this, we try each year to take part in various events, raising money and awareness for deserving charities in the area.

Over the last couple of years we have held performances to raise money for Happy Days Children's Charity, Family Fund, Brain Tumor Support, Macmillan Cancer Support &, over summer I was asked to choreograph and teach a Greatest Showman Flashmob for Home Start York - an AMAZING experience! We have also taken part in the Community Ties Project which involved a dance workshop where my Over 60's Dance Fitness group worked alongside children from Take A Bow Theatre Group based at Oaken Grove Community Centre in Haxby. (More photographs from our charity performances will be uploaded soon!)
