Dance Fitness Class
I believe that dancing should be accessible to everyone, and in April this year I launched a new Dance Fitness Class at Oaken Grove Community Centre in Haxby. This class focuses on all of the fun elements of a variety of styles of dance; from Rock & Roll, The Charleston, Motown, Latin and much more. The class always begins with a gentle warm up and then I teach the basic elements and techniques of our chosen style of dance, before working them into a full routine. The moves are all low-impact, whilst still maintaining a level of energy, and steps are levelled to allow individuals to work at a level appropriate to them.
Since starting the class, the group has grown steadily and we now have a really fantastic group of people who attend regularly and always bring lots of fun, positivity and laughter to the class!
